PART-TIME PROGRAMME FOR 2011/2012 ACADEMIC SESSION

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) for the 2011/2012 academic session. Joseph Ayo Babalola University is licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria to operate as a Private University. It is located at Ikeji Arakeji in Osun State along Ilesa-Akure Road.

OBJECTIVES

Successful Applicants would be given intense teaching to be able to earn a University Diploma or Degree Certificate while on their Jobs.

THOSE WHO MAY APPLY

Candidates wishing to apply for admission into the University must possess O/L, SSCE (WAEC), SSCE NECO or equivalent with minimum of credit passes in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics at one or two sittings. “Awaiting result” candidates can also apply provided their results will be available by September, 2011.

Candidates who possess good OND, A/LEVEL/NCE and HND Certificates can also apply to join the programme to appropriate level.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is available for candidates who intend to stay on campus during the lectures.

DURATION

• All Part-Time Degree Programmes will last for 5years for candidates with O/L or equivalent, while those who come in through direct entry, will spend 4 years
• Diploma Programmes will last for 18months.

SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS

All programmes will be handled by a team of dedicated lecturers. Course Materials will be available to students for all Programmes.

Fees charged on the Diploma and Degree Programmes will be competitive and attractive and will be similar to those paid in similar programmes by the Public Universities.
